Barkley Agency approached our photographer, Mike Powell to shoot a pre-Olympic campaign for their client, 24 hour fitness. The concept behind the campaign was to create different range of motion images blending Olympians with club members showing that all people, regardless of their age and level of experience, are welcome and capable of being a part of 24 hour’s physical wellness program.
Mike was excited about the campaign from the beginning and in his words:
“It was a combination of having shot very similar works of an MLB baseball pitcher for Sports Illustrated, and having been to several winter Olympics and also having a personal interest in what it takes to train world class athletes.”
The athletes were all to great to work with and like all athletes at their level, understood the concept and nailed the physical action straight away, making Mike’s job a relative synch!
